Indian Government Alert For Samsung Users

The Indian government has issued a critical warning to Samsung smartphone users, urging them to promptly update their devices. The Computer Emergency Response Team of India (CERT-In) disclosed that vulnerabilities affecting Samsung phones operating on Android versions 11, 12, 13, and 14 pose significant risks. These vulnerabilities empower attackers to breach security barriers, gain unauthorized access to sensitive information, and execute harmful code on targeted devices.

The potential consequences of these vulnerabilities are severe, encompassing heap overflow, SIM PIN access, privilege elevation via broadcast, sandbox data exposure, system time manipulation to bypass Knox Guard lock, file access, and compromising device security by executing arbitrary code.
