Former MP and senior BJP leader Jayaprada is currently missing, following a non-bailable warrant issued by the Rampur court in Uttar Pradesh. The warrant stems from alleged contempt of the election code of conduct by Jayaprada.
Despite several directives, Jayaprada failed to appear at the court hearing, prompting the issuance of an arrest warrant against her. The court has instructed the police to locate and present Jayaprada before January 10. Rampur Police are currently searching for her.
