Karan Johar’s Next Opt For OTT Release

Karan Johar is one of the prominent filmmaker and producer in Bollywood. Despite his popularity, Karan chooses to release some of his movies directly on OTT. “Ae Watan Mere Watan,” produced by him, is one such film that will soon find its place on Amazon Prime Video. Starring Sara Ali Khan, the film is directed by Kannan Iyer.

The film portrays the story of Usha Mehta, focusing on her role in India’s freedom movement through establishing an underground radio station. As the world celebrates World Radio Day, the decision to release the film on OTT aligns. Ae Watan Mere Watan will premiere on March 21.

Historical dramas are usually rare in Indian cinema and we have to see if this film clicks well and gives much-needed success to Sara, who needs a big hit.
