The release date of Jr NTR’s Devara Part One was revealed yesterday. It will hit the screens on October 10th during the Dasara festive season. Meanwhile, he has many curses to break with Devara this time.
First of all, NTR has to break the post-Rajamouli movie syndrome. No hero in history has managed to achieve success with their immediately following movie after collaborating on a film with SS Rajamouli. Devara is NTR’s immediate film after RRR. This jinx will be haunting him.
He is playing a father and son dual role in Devara. He played such father-son dual roles in the films Andhrawala and Shakti. Both movies ended up as disasters at the box office. That is another curse surrounding Devara.
Also, Dasara season didn’t give him big blockbusters as well. While a few of them ended up as flops, a few others failed to capitalise on big openings. It has to be seen if NTR breaks these curses with Devara.
