On Friday, AP CID officials apologized to the Telangana High Court regarding the Lookout Circular (LOC) against Margadarshi MD Ch. Shailaja Kiran, despite interim orders against strict actions.
Additional Director General N. Sanjay, Additional SP S. Rajasekhar Rao and Deputy SP CH. Ravikumar personally delivered separate apology letters, clarifying that issuing the LOC to Sailaja Kiaran wasn’t intentional disobedience of the court’s interim orders.
During the hearing of the contempt of court petitions filed by Margadarshi Chitfunds and its MD Shailaja Kiran on the LOC matter, the CID lawyer presented the apology letters from the officials. The judge, upon review, inquired why the letters were presented without accompanying affidavits. The hearing was rescheduled for the 29th of this month, with instructions for CID officials to file their apologies in the form of affidavits.
