Notably, Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga, an MNF candidate, lost to ZPM’s Lalthansanga by 2,101 votes in the Aizwal East-1 seat.
Lalthansanga secured 10,727 votes, while Zoramthanga received 8,626 votes. Other significant losses include Deputy Chief Minister Tawnluia, Health Minister R Lalthangliana, and Rural Development Minister Laruatkima, all from MNF, in various constituencies.
