On the occasion of Sankranthi, Netflix India has been announcing its lineup of upcoming South Indian releases. A couple of days ago, Netflix released its Telugu slate. Today, the streaming platform is announcing its Tamil lineup.
As a part of it, Netflix India announced its post-theatrical digital rights for Kamal Haasan’s pan-India biggie Indian 2. Apart from Indian 2, Netflix has also bought the rights of Vikram’s Thangalaan, Ajith’s Vidaamuyarchi, Siva Karthikeyan’s SK 21, Vijay Sethupathi’s Maharaja and a few other films.
Directed by Shankar, Indian 2 features Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth and Rakul Preet in other key roles. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for it.
