Speaking to the media, Kamal stated that he had already spoken with Vijay regarding his political entry. He also revealed that he was the first person to welcome Vijay in person and had extensive political discussions at his office.
Notably, Kamal Haasan is the head of the political party, Makkal Needhi Maiam. He founded it in 2018 and contested in the 2019 Lok Sabha and 2021 Assembly Elections of Tamil Nadu. However, the party failed to secure a single seat in these polls.
Kamal’s favourable remarks regarding Vijay’s political debut raise questions about whether Kamal will align with Vijay in the future.
