The political landscape in Telangana is undergoing surprising changes ahead of the state assembly elections. In a surprising turn of events, Chintapandu Naveen, also known as Teenmaar Mallanna, has joined the Congress party. His official entry into the party occurred in the presence of Manik Rao Thakrey, the AICC Telangana Incharge, and Mahesh Kumar Goud, the TPCC Working President.
Recently, there had been widespread speculation about Mallanna’s impending move to Congress. In the past, he was in the BJP and later resigned from the party. Mallanna had previously participated in Huzurnagar by-polls and MLC elections.
Initially, Mallanna had expressed his intention to contest from the Medchal constituency as an independent candidate. However, the Congress party has already declared its candidate for that seat. It is rumoured that the party has assured Mallanna of an MLC seat in the future.
