Telangana State Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj confirmed that there won’t be any re-polling across the state, emphasizing the readiness for the vote counting process on December 3.
Tight Security measures have been implemented around the 49 designated counting centers. The preparations involve 1,766 tables for vote counting, with a notable surge in postal ballot usage, reaching 180,000 in this election.
Vikas Raj highlighted a 70.74 percent overall polling percentage, marking a slight decrease of 3 percent compared to the 2018 elections, which had a 73.37 percent turnout. He mentioned the facilitation of voting for citizens above 80 years at their homes, which has been successful.
