Congress Party’s six-guarantee scheme played a key role in the party’s win in the recently held Assembly Elections in Telangana. The government has already initiated the implementation of two schemes, free bus rides for women and the Aarogya Bandhu scheme offering Rs. 10 lakhs.
Recently, a review meeting was conducted by the government to assess the applications received for the Praja Palana schemes, totalling 1.25 crore applications from 33 districts.
It is reported that the government will soon start implementing the Rs. 500 gas cylinder scheme and the 200-unit free electricity scheme. The distribution of scheme benefits is expected to be facilitated by forming village committees across the state.
