Currently, the tech giant has only two stores across India– Apple BKC in Mumbai and Apple Saket in New Delhi. Opening more stores will not only bring Apple closer to its customers but also create jobs and contribute to the local economy as well.

As the iPhone 16’s early sales beat its predecessor’s record, Cook specifically pointed out India’s role in their success. And it is not limited to just iPhones, as iPads and other Apple accessories are becoming more in demand among premium consumers.

This is a step in a positive direction for Indian Apple lovers and could lead to exciting new offers, products, and services catering to them down the line. It’s a vibrant market and Apple is trying its best to crack down on competition.
