Badshah’s ‘Ek Tha Raja’: Hip-Hop Triumph

After immense hype surrounding rapper Badshah’s latest album, it was finally dropped on Spotify yesterday. The unreal anticipation for this massive project was further amplified by SRK’s involvement, as he lent his voice for the announcement video, which resembled a high-budget Bollywood movie trailer.

Badshah, who is known for superhit songs like Mercy, Kaala Chashma, Kar gayi Chull and many more, his third studio album, ‘Ek Tha Raja,’ was launched yesterday, with many big names from the industry attending and enjoying their share of fun. This included SRK’s son, Aryan Khan, and the famous comedian Munawar Faruqui. The album features many artists, including Raftar, Kr$na, Karan Aujhla, Aastha Gil, Seedhe Maut, and many more.

The album celebrates 12 years of Badshah in the industry and his unbeatable status in hip-hop music. As soon as the songs were released on Spotify, people rushed to enjoy them, and the album didn’t disappoint. It’s filled with new sounds and feels fresh. The featured verses are also catchy. One of the most interesting songs on the album is “Soulmate,” which features Arijit Singh. It has a beautiful melody that instantly hooks you and is worthy of looping.

Among the other songs, the last track of the album stands out as one of the most interesting. It’s a hardcore hip-hop track in which Badshah takes shots at his haters who mockingly call him “Gian.” Overall, the album is a perfect response to everyone who used to doubt that Badshah could go hard. Let us know your thoughts on the album.
