A tragic incident has been reported from Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh. A woman lost her life after a surgery attempt at an illegal clinic. The case has shocked locals and raised serious safety concerns.
The victim, Munishra Rawat, complained of stomach pain. Her family took her to a small clinic named Shri Damodar Aushadhalaya. They were unaware that the clinic was operating illegally.
The clinic owner, Gyan Prakash Mishra, was not a qualified doctor. He told the family that surgery was necessary and charged twenty thousand rupees. During the procedure, he was reportedly drunk.
Mishra allegedly watched a YouTube surgery video on his phone and tried to copy it. He made an incorrect incision and damaged several veins. Munishra Rawat died the following day due to complications.
Police revealed that Mishra’s nephew assisted him despite having no medical training. The clinic has been sealed by authorities. Both accused are absconding, and a police search is ongoing.
Such incidents are repeatedly reported in small towns. Illegal clinics continue to function without proper checks. Strict action and regular inspections are needed to prevent such tragedies.
The case serves as a strong warning for the public. Verifying a doctor’s licence and qualifications before treatment is essential. Lives should never be risked due to fake medical practitioners.
