In this high-tech world, everyone is seeking more convenient options, from delivery agents for food items to groceries. Unfortunately, we have distressing news about a teenager being sexually assaulted by a delivery guy.
The news is from Greater Noida where the girl ordered groceries for her on a popular grocery delivery app and when the guy came he saw the girl alone as she opened the door. And took advantage of that by brutally raping the girl.
The college-going girl was left tormented for life in her building alone. Following the case police told a major update that the guy had been shot by them as he was trying to run away.
While this is just one incident, there are many cases daily in the country that need to be addressed. We can achieve this by strengthening our laws and educating the people. Do you think that the girl was at fault in any way? All she did was order something online. If such incidents continue to happen, people will soon lose confidence in delivery systems, and as a result, they may start viewing every other guy on the street as a potential rapist, which is a serious issue that needs to be addressed.
