Musk tweeted on August 13, 2023, that he was “running out of memes, nudes starting tomorrow”, implying that he would stop posting memes and start posting nude photos of himself. The tweet quickly went viral, with over 8 million likes and 500,000 retweets.
However, not everyone was amused by Musk’s announcement. Many users replied with sarcastic and mocking comments, such as “Please warn us before posting a dick pic”, “can’t wait to see your rocket” and “Is this how you plan to colonize Mars?”.
Musk has not responded to the trolling yet, but he is known for his unpredictable and eccentric behaviour. He has previously posted memes about Dogecoin, anime, aliens and COVID-19. He has also changed his profile picture to a sheep, a cat and a monkey.
Whether Musk is serious about posting nudes or not, he has certainly stirred up a lot of attention and controversy with his tweets. It remains to be seen how he will surprise his followers next.
