Husband Gifts AK-47 For Wedding Anniversary

If your wedding anniversary is near, it’s highly likely that you’re under tremendous pressure about what gift you should buy for your partner. Buying gifts is a love language for many people and that’s why they take it very seriously. But this politician took gifting to another level when he gifted an AK-47 to her wife on their first wedding anniversary.

Former Trinamool Congress leader Riazul Haque gifted his wife Sabina Yasmin an assault rifle which she shared on her social media. The backlash came soon and the opposition leaders including those from BJP and CPIM accused the TMC leader of promoting ‘Taliban rule’.

It is illegal for civilians to carry an assault rifle like AK-47 in India. Social media users were quick to react to the incident and raised questions about how this is even allowed.

After facing the heat from both the opposition and citizens, the post was deleted from Facebook and the leader even claimed that the gun was in fact a toy gun.
