India Recorded Highest Ever Temperature in History

Dangerously humid weather and heat waves are making the lives of the people in India more than miserable.

With the rapid change in climate, nature is reciprocating to the harms that have been done to her.

And, with the increasing Global warming every city is reaching its highest temperature this summer.

And the capital Delhi is not far behind this list, where In West Bengal the temperature was fluctuating between 39 to 40 degrees, and it felt as if it was 54 degrees. Delhi reached its highest temperature with 52.3 degree Celsius today.

India Meteorological Department regional head Kuldeep Srivastava said while explaining the reason behind the rising temperature, the city’s outskirts are hit by hot winds from Rajasthan.

He also added, “Parts of Delhi are particularly susceptible to the early arrival of these hot winds, worsening the already severe weather. Areas like Mungeshpur, Narela and Najafgarh are the first to experience the full force of these hot winds”.

Wednesday rain in Delhi is most likely to be the reason for this drastic humidity .

It has been found that this rapid climate change is causing heat waves to become longer, more frequent and more intense.

Other areas that reported extremely high temperatures are both in the desert state Rajasthan – 51 degree Celsius in Phalodi, and 50.8 degree Celsius.

This change in climate is making the life of everyone miserable.

As it is evident that students have to attend their classes and labourers have to work in this scorching heat of summer which is causing the rate of cardiac arrests in India.
