Indian actress Kangana Ranaut has always managed to stay in the news for one reason or the other. If it is not about something she did then definitely about something she said. However, now that the actress is contesting the Lok Sabha elections, being in news might mean being relevant and hence beneficial as well. Kangana recently made a comparison between Amitabh Bachchan and herself which sparked a big debate not just in the industry but in the political field as well.
Kangana Ranaut is running for the seat of MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. She recently said that she receives as much love and respect as the great Amitabh Bachchan. She also went on to say that if not her then who.
It rarely happens that a celebrity asserts their own importance in the industry but it is not surprising for anyone that Kangana compared herself with Amitabh Bachchan. She has called herself one of the best of Bollywood before as well.
Kangana also went on to take a subtle dig at the regular superstars of the industry. Adding to the claim of being the most respected, she asked if not her then who, Khans or Kapoors? Netizens were very quick to react to her claims and the response ranged from support to brutal criticism.
