A shocking dowry harassment case has emerged from Lucknow, where a woman filed a complaint against her husband Nishant Kumar and his family. Despite strict laws, such cases continue to surface, raising serious concerns about ongoing social practices.
According to the complaint, the woman was informed after marriage that her husband had a kidney condition due to excessive drinking. The family allegedly demanded either ₹30 lakhs or that she donate her kidney for his treatment.
The woman stated that her family had already given a dowry of ₹8 lakhs along with an SUV at the time of marriage. However, the in laws were not satisfied and continued to demand more, putting additional pressure on her and her parents.
She also claimed that her husband showed no interest in the marriage and avoided any physical relationship. Disturbingly, she alleged that her mother in law often slept between them, while her father in law entered their room and took photos without consent.
As the pressure and harassment increased, the woman decided to leave the house and returned to her parents in Kanpur. She later filed a case against her husband and in laws, seeking legal action and justice.
The case has sparked concern and discussion, highlighting the seriousness of dowry related abuse and the need for strict enforcement of laws to protect victims.
