Kid On Death Risk For Vijay’s B’day

Celebrities often attain God like status in many South Indian States. The level of craze people have for their superstars is unmatched and can only be experienced by being there. It’s no wonder that celebrity birthdays are grand occasions there. Birthday of superstar actor Vijay was celebrated recently at many places in Tamil Nadu. However, it exposed how fans can risk everything to please their stars.

In one such celebration in Chennai, a young boy’s life was put at risk as he performed an extremely dangerous martial arts stunt on the stage. With almost zero safety precautions, the young kid was made to break burning bricks with his hands during which a mishap took place.

A person can be seen pouring fuel on the brick tiles and lighting it before the boy breaks it. The fire gets out of control and the boy gets burnt during the process. This has angered many people on the internet who are questioning the need to risk a young child’s life for such events.

This could have easily been deadly and passed off as an accident but the root cause of it still lies in the hero worship culture that sometimes goes beyond reason.
