Andre Russell came as a guardian angel to 8th drop out Deepu Ojha. A resident of Khoda village in Bihar Deepu used to think that Dream 11 and apps like this are just a fraud, no money comes from all these platforms.
But when he saw the match on Sunday was between RCB and KKR, he made a team and ended up making Russell as his captain.
He has very minimal knowledge about Cricket, and said he chose the team members because he felt nice, and he won 1.5 Crores from IPL fantasy gaming during Sunday’s match.
Although he hasn’t decided yet what he wants to do with all the money, he is certainly very happy about the win.
A similar thing happened in 2023, a driver from Madhya Pradesh struck gold just by investing 49 rupees in an online game, by topping the chart with his virtual cricket team, he won a whooping 1.5 crore.
But, sadly his joy was short-lived as he faced suspension from duty by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police for alleged misconduct and tarnishing the image of the police department.
