The former left handed Indian batter has been involved in a number of heated arguments and moments on the field both as player and support staff. The ugly spat between Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli during an IPL match this year is still fresh in the memories of cricket fans.

Currently, Gautam Gambhir is working as a commentator in the ongoing Asia Cup tournament played between six teams in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The former cricketer became the centre of controversy once again when he allegedly gave the middle finger to the fans in the stands.

The situation arose when Gautam Gambhir was heading back to the media box after rain had stopped the game. It appears that fans were shouting Kohli slogans at him which might have angered him. However, the video has not been verified yet the whole story is largely unknown.
