No More Boards Pressure! Exams To Be Conducted Twice

India is currently experiencing an educational revolution, shifting from a traditional to a more modern system. The National Education Policy (NEP) is not only widely appreciated within the country but also holds implications for Indian students abroad.

Presently, the Ministry of Education has made some remarkable changes for students, and their latest one may result in an improved student experience in grades 11th and 12th.

The report suggests providing students with the opportunity to take board exams twice a year, allowing them to choose subjects they’ve completed and feel confident in, with the option to retain their highest score.

In addition to this change, a couple of other points will have a significant impact in the near future. Students will now be required to study two languages, with one of them being Indian, fostering a stronger connection to their cultural roots. Furthermore, beyond the importance of English, students are encouraged to become acquainted with their own culture.

Another transformative change is that education will no longer be limited to strict divisions of Science, Arts, and Commerce.
