Satish Khatik, aged 24, and 23-year-old Sajid Mohammad had leased a mine to overcome financial struggles and support their sisters’ weddings. Just 20 days into their excavation, they discovered a 15.34 carat diamond of gem quality valued at around Rs 50 lakh. Local reports have confirmed the find, which stands out in Panna’s competitive mining landscape.
