Saviour in Uniform: Man Rescued From A Moving Train!

A video has gone viral on social media that displayed the valour of an RPF sub-inspector. The incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed on the platform.

In the video, a man was trying to catch a running train but he slipped and failed to board the train. In the background, an RPF officer was seen trying to warn him from doing so but the man (Sajjan Singh) did not listen and got himself in a life-threatening position. But, the officer’s presence of mind and courage saved his life who grabbed Sajjan Singh the moment his feet slipped.

The incident took place at Prayagraj Junction, UP and the sub-inspector who saved the day is Sanjay Kumar Rawat.

The video has gone viral on the social media and people are praising Sub-inspector Rawat for his bravery. But, at the same time they have raised their concerns for such incidents being very common in our country.

People try to catch moving trains everyday, sometimes out of need, while at others just to prove their courage. Steps to curb such habits are necessary. The best one seems to be installing automatic gates in all the train coaches.
