SRK & Nayanthara Were Destined 10 Years Back

The first single of Atlee’s Jawan is out featuring SRK and Nayanthara. The duo is working together for the first time. But an old video of the two from 2013 has resurfaced online hinting that they were destined to work together years ago.

The video is from the 7th edition of the Vijay Awards, where SRK was presented with the Chevalier Sivaji Ganesan Award for Excellence in Indian Cinema. Nayanthara handed the award to him and the host revealed that she was a huge SRK fan. SRK, being himself, hinted at taking her to Bollywood with his gestures.

It’s 2023, and that gesture has become a reality with Jawan. The duo has showcased their high-energy dancing talents in the song titled “Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya”. The chemistry between the two is easy to see and gives a glimpse of what we could expect from the movie.

Nayanthara is making her debut in Bollywood with Jawan, after having a long and successful career in the South Indian movie industries, predominantly the Tamil Industry.

The trailer for Jawan will be released on 31st August. It will hit theatres worldwide on 7th September.
