After an exciting IPL 2025 match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), fans of both teams got into a fight outside the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
RCB had just won the match by only 2 runs. Soon after, a video went viral showing a CSK fan holding a poster of MS Dhoni getting into a fight with two RCB fans.
People nearby said the RCB fans may have teased the CSK supporter, which led to the argument.
The fight quickly got physical. The fans pushed and shouted at each other until the police arrived and separated them. Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt.
The match itself was full of drama. CSK almost chased down RCB’s big score, but they couldn’t finish the job in the final over. The loss was tough for CSK fans to accept, especially since it involved their hero, MS Dhoni.
After the video of the fight spread online, many cricket lovers said it’s okay to be passionate but not violent. They also said more should be done to stop such fights in the future.
Some fans pointed out that these fights ruin the spirit of the game and make it uncomfortable for families and children who come to enjoy cricket. Authorities may consider tightening security and increasing crowd control after matches.
