Viral Video: Leopard’s Shocking Attack on Sleeping Street Dog

Have you ever witnessed a leopard approach its victim and attack it in broad daylight? If you haven’t already, you should view this video posted by Indian Forest Service officer Parveen Kaswan.

The footage shows a leopard creeping up on a dog napping along the highway and then pouncing on it. The carnivore then fled, the prey still in its mouth. A man was sleeping right next to the dog. The video is honestly rather frightening.

Several vehicles can be seen lined up together in the footage. This might be a truck stop on the highway or a rest stop for drivers. A man may be seen sleeping on a cot outside in the open air. Parveen Kaswan writes, “A leopard in action on the side of the busy Pune-Nashik highway.”

The video elicited a wide range of emotions. “Wondering how the dog missed the alert. They can usually hear or smell danger, even at low decibels,” one user commented.
