Due to long lines at petrol bunks, the techies are finding it difficult to reach office on time. This is making many of them take half a day leave. The situation has reached a point where the start-ups have already asked their employees to work from home. But the big tech companies haven’t released any such guidelines.

The lack of awareness to use public transport to save time is another primary problem. There is a general aversion to use buses or MMTS or Metro. Of course, one cannot put the blame on them totally as the public transport system is not well-connected in the city.
Many are using cabs and autos to reach offices. Looks like it’s time for the government to pro-actively address the situation before thinking of projects like beautification of Musi.
