GT vs SRH: Big Stars Exposed in Brutal Collapse!

Gujarat Titans delivered a dominating performance against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 56th match of IPL 2026 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. GT secured a massive 82-run victory and officially qualified for the playoffs with the win.

The victory also pushed Gujarat Titans to the top of the IPL 2026 points table. More importantly, the team continued its impressive winning streak and strengthened its reputation as one of the strongest sides this season.

Defending 169 runs, Gujarat Titans completely dismantled the SRH batting order. Sunrisers Hyderabad were bowled out for just 86 runs in 14.5 overs, registering their lowest total in IPL history and GT’s biggest victory by runs.

The chase collapsed right from the opening over when Mohammed Siraj dismissed Travis Head for a duck. SRH never recovered after the early setback as wickets continued falling at regular intervals throughout the innings.

Kagiso Rabada turned the match heavily in Gujarat Titans’ favour with a brilliant spell. He dismissed Abhishek Sharma for 6, Ishan Kishan for 11 and Smaran Ravichandran for 9 as SRH slipped to 32/4 inside the powerplay.

The highly-rated SRH batting lineup failed badly under pressure. Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Ishan Kishan, Nitish Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen and Pat Cummins could not make any meaningful contribution during the difficult chase.

GT’s bowling attack once again impressed with its discipline and aggression. Mohammed Siraj, Kagiso Rabada and Jason Holder consistently attacked with the new ball and prevented Sunrisers Hyderabad from building any partnerships.

Earlier, Gujarat Titans posted 168/5 in 20 overs with important knocks from Sai Sudharsan and Washington Sundar. Sai Sudharsan scored a steady 61 off 44 balls, while Washington Sundar added a valuable 50 from 33 deliveries.

Nishansh Sandhu contributed 22 runs during the later stages of the innings. Jason Holder remained unbeaten on 11, while Rahul Tewatia stayed not out on 4 to help GT finish strongly.

For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Praful Hinge and Shakib Hussain picked up two wickets each. Pat Cummins also claimed one wicket, but SRH struggled badly with both bat and ball throughout the contest.

Gujarat Titans have now won five consecutive matches and are looking dangerous ahead of the playoffs. Their bowling attack is in excellent form and appears to be peaking at the perfect stage of IPL 2026.
