T20 WC: Namibia Calls Out Bias Before India Clash

Namibia captain Gerhard Erasmus has expressed frustration ahead of the T20 World Cup clash against India. He claimed his team was not given a night training session before the crucial match.

Speaking to the media, Erasmus said Namibia did not receive a floodlight session. He pointed out that India had two night training slots, while Canada also received one.

He added that most Namibian players lack experience under floodlights. Only a few have played in previous World Cups or leagues like the Nepal Premier League and the ILT20.

The statement has triggered debate among fans. Many believe associate nations should be given equal practice facilities to ensure a level playing field.

Observers feel that as the host board, the BCCI should ensure fair training access. Proper preparation becomes crucial for teams with limited infrastructure back home.

Despite the concerns, Namibia’s fighting spirit has earned appreciation. Supporters are backing the underdogs to put up a competitive show against Team India later this evening.
