Smriti Mandhana’s mother appears to have finally reacted to the infidelity rumours surrounding her daughter’s split with Palash Muchhal. The reaction surfaced subtly but quickly drew attention online. It followed a major professional moment in Smriti Mandhana’s cricketing career.
On February 5, Royal Challengers Bengaluru won their second Women’s Premier League title. The very next day, Smriti’s mother reposted a reel that many viewed as a clear dig at her daughter’s ex-fiance. The timing added fuel to existing speculation.
The reel carried a satirical take on the captain’s recent win against the Delhi Capitals. Its caption read, “So this is how Smriti saw DC’s players during yesterday’s match?”. The visual showed Smriti with her teammates pointing at the runner up team.
The twist lay in the edit. The faces of all rival team members were replaced with a picture of Palash Muchhal. Fans were quick to notice the apparent shade, linking the repost directly to the past controversy involving Smriti Mandhana’s personal life.
