Indian cricket fans have been waiting to welcome their heroes back to the country after they lifted the world cup in Barbados. Their wait has been extended as a natural calamity looms danger over the entire squad which is still in Barbados. A hurricane is creating havoc in the Caribbean and because of it the Indian team is stuck in Barbados.
Hurricane Beryl has struck the Caribbean and it is causing destruction along its path. The Indian team and the Indian media for the world cup is stuck in Barbados as a result. All flights have been canceled from the island country which is bracing for the impact of the hurricane.
The hurricane has also affected the electricity and water supply in Barbados and hence many services are shut. It puts team India in a difficult spot as the weather is unpredictable and the hurricane can turn more dangerous anytime.
So far it has killed one person and caused huge damage at the ports. The Indian fans were waiting to give a warm reception to the Indian team as they return but right now their concern lies for the well being of the team.
