India’s Golden Batter Becoming a Burden?

There is no doubt that Yashasvi Jaiswal, through his significant cricketing abilities, has made himself a permanent name in the Indian cricket team.

But if his recent games are anything to go by, he really needs to work on his catching.

This isn’t something new or recent. Jaiswal has dropped quite a few significant catches in the past as well. Add it to the list of the multiple dropped catches in the first test match and we get something explosive for the public to munch on.

And the public has been doing just that. There have been strong calls from social media bashing the young lad. People seem to be urging the BCCI to bench Jaiswal as a form of punishment.

Jaiswal really needs to work more on his catching ability as nowadays, just being a good batter isn’t enough. Everyone has to do their part on each front to make sure their team performs the best it can in every possible scenario.
