Ajith Kumar, after the terrible setback of Vidaamuyarchi, is making a comeback with Good Bad Ugly (GBU), directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The film is slated for a grand worldwide theatrical release on April 10.
The trailer of GBU has been released, and viewers are sharing their responses, mentioning that it is one of the best trailers for Ajith Kumar in recent years.
With numerous references to Ajith Kumar’s classic films and quirky background scores, the trailer is being described by the Kollywood audience as a pure fanboy tribute from Adhik Ravichandran.
Furthermore, AK’s fanboy Adhik Ravichandran has delivered peak elevation moments for the actor throughout the trailer—something that has been missing from Ajith’s recent films.
Conversely, some critics commented that despite the mass appeal, the GBU trailer felt more like a mash-up than a cohesive movie trailer.
Pre-bookings for GBU began at 8 PM in Tamil Nadu, and the well-timed, mass-commercially-packaged trailer has significantly boosted bookings.
The trailer has fueled expectations for the movie. It remains to be seen whether GBU will meet audience expectations and emerge as a blockbuster success on April 10.
