Is Ajith About to Repeat an Old Blunder? Fans Furious

After the box office success of Good Bad Ugly (GBU), Ajith Kumar has not officially announced his next film. Earlier, director Adhik Ravichandran had confirmed that another collaboration with Ajith Kumar was already in place, though details remain under wraps.

Amid this, director Siruthai Siva has revealed that he is set to reunite with Ajith Kumar for a new project. He confirmed that discussions are progressing and an official announcement will be made once everything is finalised.

Siruthai Siva added that the genre of the film is being kept confidential for now. This has led to strong speculation that after AK64 with Adhik Ravichandran, Ajith Kumar may once again team up with Siruthai Siva.

The news has gone viral online and triggered sharp reactions from Ajith Kumar fans. Many have urged the actor to avoid the collaboration, citing past films like Veeram, Vedalam, Vivegam, and Viswasam, which they feel were cringeworthy despite some box office success.

Fans have also pointed to Siruthai Siva’s recent films Annaatthe and Kanguva, both of which ended as major disasters. They believe Ajith Kumar should protect the momentum gained from GBU by making more careful choices.

Reports also suggest that heavy losses from Annaatthe and Kanguva have made producers hesitant to back Siruthai Siva’s next film. As a result, rumours claim Ajith Kumar may be offering his call sheet to help the director regain his market position.

There is still no official confirmation regarding this reunion. Whether Ajith Kumar will collaborate with Siruthai Siva for his 65th film remains uncertain, and clarity is expected only after a formal announcement.
