Dhanush55 may shift from Rajkumar Periasamy to Tamizharasan, as a delay in NOC has created fresh speculation. Fans are now watching closely for the next official update.
Dhanush recently scored success with his Bollywood film Tere Ishk Mein. He is now shooting a film directed by Vignesh Raja, tentatively titled D54. This project began before any work started on his next big project.
Earlier, the Pooja ceremony for Dhanush’s 55th film was completed. The film was planned with Amaran film famed director Rajkumar Periyasamy and produced by Gopuram Films. Pre production work had already started and the team seemed set.
A few days ago, strong reports claimed that the film was a high budget project and Dhanush did not have a market large enough for it. Due to this, Gopuram Films stepped out. Wunderbar Films then took complete control of the film.
A new speculation now says that Gopuram Films is still delaying the NOC. This may stop Rajkumar Periyasamy from directing Dhanush’s 55th film. Rumours suggest that Tamizharasan Pachamuthu may take over under Dawn Pictures. Their collaboration was already part of Dhanush’s upcoming line up.
After this news, fans began celebrating on social media. They believe Tamizharasan Pachamuthu proved his commercial strength with Lubber Pandhu. So they expect him to deliver a strong commercial film for Dhanush.
Fans also feel the postponement will help Rajkumar Periyasamy. They believe the extra time will allow him to refine the screenplay for the high budget project and plan it better.
There is still no official information about the director change. It remains to be seen whether Tamizharasan Pachamuthu or Rajkumar Periyasamy will direct Dhanush’s 55th film.
