This is because Jana Nayagan reportedly includes a scene about good touch and bad touch, similar to a scene in Bhagavanth Kesari. To avoid legal issues after its release because of this one scene, the team is rumored to have acquired its remake rights.

Following this, some trade experts responded that these are just social media rumors and hype, stating that makers are not dumb enough to pay crores for a single scene and buy entire remake rights.
