It’s Karthi and SJ Suryah’s Face-off in Sardar 2.

Karthi’s Sardar-2 shoot started with a pooja ceremony a few days ago. Sardar-2 is the sequel to the blockbuster Sardar movie, which was released in 2022. This movie was directed by P.S. Mithran.

Sardar-2 is one of the expected movies in Kollywood, as the previous part, Sardar, was a tremendous success, did wonders in the box office collections, and also became one of the major hits of the year 2022. This movie was produced by the popular production house Prince Pictures, and the music for this movie was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Rathna Kumar, who has previously worked as one of the writers for the Leo movie, was also working as a co-writer for Sardar-2, and Dhilip Subbarayan is doing the action choreography for this movie. In addition to the expectations, SJ Suryah was on board for this movie. This was officially confirmed by the production house in a release poster. Still, there isn’t any information about the other cast and crew of the movie.

Tamil cinema audiences are a little scared of sequels, but this update as SJ Suryah faces off against Karthi in Sardar-2 is new and refreshing for audiences. Sardar-2 was expected to be released by early 2025. Let’s see whether this sequel escapes from the evil spell of Kollywood sequels.
