Karthi Okays Cringe Director: Costly Mistake?

Karthi, after the success of Meiyazhagan, is now acting as the lead in two projects: Sardar 2, directed by PS Mithran, which is almost in its final stages, and an untitled project directed by Taanakkaran-famed Tamizh.

Now, there is strong speculation that Karthi and Sundar C are going to collaborate on a commercial entertainer, and the shooting of this movie is going to start once Karthi completes his earlier commitments. The official announcement on this is expected soon.

Following this, netizens on social media responded that Karthi’s decision to do a movie with Sundar C is a risky one for the actor, as Sundar C’s movies might work in B and C centers, but they are still considered cringe-worthy and outdated.

At the same time, earlier, when Karthi collaborated with a similar kind of director, Suraaj, for Alex Pandian, the movie ended up as a terrible disaster.

Karthi is now in the prime phase of his career, and he should not take risks by collaborating with directors like Sundar C, say Kollywood audiences.

However, there are still no official updates on this, and it remains to be seen whether this project takes off and if Karthi and Sundar C collaborate on a commercial entertainer in the future.
