Director Reveals Balakrishna’s Shocking Remark on Ajith

Legendary director KS Ravikumar recently spoke in an interview about a remake idea that never took shape. He revealed plans to remake a successful Kollywood film with Balayya, and his explanation has now gone viral across social media platforms.

KS Ravikumar said he wanted to remake Varalaru in Telugu with Balakrishna. After watching the film, Balakrishna reportedly remarked that only Ajith Kumar could truly do justice to the role and advised against remaking it with any other actor.

Following this statement, many social media users agreed with Balayya’s view. They felt Ajith Kumar delivered one of his finest performances in Varalaru and that the impact of the role was unmatched in his career.

Some also noted that a Telugu remake with Balakrishna might not have matched the original’s intensity. They believe Ajith Kumar reached a peak performance in Varalaru, one that even he may not be able to recreate again.

An additional detail shared by KS Ravikumar was that Varalaru was originally written for Rajinikanth. Although Rajinikanth reportedly liked the narration, the project did not move forward due to unforeseen reasons.

The film eventually took shape with Ajith Kumar in the lead. Today, KS Ravikumar’s remarks explaining why Varalaru was never remade in Telugu continue to trend, with audiences actively discussing and reacting to the revelation.
