Meiyazhagan: TN Government Targets Vijay?

Karthi’s Meiyazhagan was finally released today, and many Karthi fan clubs across Tamil Nadu are in celebration mode and placing cutouts in front of the theatres.

A few weeks ago, Vijay’s The Greatest Of All Time movie was released on September 5th, and many police officials were on duty to avoid clashes and misleading celebrations among Vijay’s fans.

Also, in many places across Tamil Nadu, police officials were asked by Vijay’s fans club to remove the banners that were placed outside the theatres, and this has created a commotion among Vijay’s fans club.

But now, during Karthi’s Meiyazhagan release, many banners and cutouts were placed in many theatres across Tamil Nadu. Now for this meme, creators and netizens were questioning the government: why were they just controlling only Vijay’s movies?

Also, in addition to this, the Tamil Nadu government has issued an order to not place any banners of Vijay’s political party during any public functions.

Fans and Tamil audiences were now opening up about this and mentioning that the government of Tamil Nadu wanted to corner only Vijay and his movies and not say any restrictions to other actors’ movies. Still there aren’t any proper responses for this from the Government side.
