Nayanthara’s Biggest: Huge Set, Outdated Director?

Nayanthara’s critically acclaimed Mookuthi Amman’s sequel, Mookuthi Amman 2, kick-started yesterday with a pooja ceremony and this movie is going to be directed by Sundar C.

Mookuthi Amman, starring Nayanthara and RJ Balaji in the lead, directed by RJ Balaji himself, was released directly on the Hotstar OTT platform in the year 2020 and has ended up as a tremendous success.

In Mookuthi Amman 2, while Nayanthara remains as same as the lead actress of the movie, Sundar C replaced RJ Balaji as the director of the movie, in this sequel.

According to the reports, Mookuthi Amman 2 is going to be made with a huge budget, and it’s said to be the biggest film in Sundar C’s career. A huge set was already completed for the movie, and the shooting is going to be started in a few days.

The major reason for the success of Mookuthi Amman is RJ Balaji, as his comedy portions in the movie worked well amongst the audiences, whereas Sundar C’s comedies sometimes ended up as cringeworthy scenes in his old movies, so Mookuthi Amman 2 might not be up to the expectations, say the Kollywood audiences on social media.

However, Nayanthara’s acting career is now in a downturn as her last few movies ended up as box office failures; she needs a comeback to revive her career.
