Huge Black Mark for Keerthy Suresh? Shows Cancelled

Keerthy Suresh returned with Revolver Rita after Baby John and Uppu Kappurambu failed to impress. The JK Chandru directorial released in theatres today, and early reactions are far from encouraging.

Many viewers called the film a disaster. They felt the dark comedy never landed, the narration stayed flat, and the film lacked energy from start to finish.

Audience reactions also questioned Keerthy Suresh’s script choices. They believe Revolver Rita suffers from weak writing and a dull screenplay with no strong moments to hold interest.

Before release, some expected the film to revive her career and boost market value after recent setbacks. Instead, the outcome pushed hopes down quickly.

Revolver Rita now joins a list of her female-centric projects that struggled, including Penguin, Saani Kaayidham and Raghu Thatha. Multiple delays also hurt momentum, and any success depended heavily on strong word-of-mouth.

Underwhelming reviews affected bookings instantly. Reports indicate cancelled shows in Hyderabad due to low turnout, and the film appears to be heading towards another failure.

The coming days will decide how Revolver Rita performs financially. For now, recovery looks difficult unless collections improve sharply.
