Pradeep Ranganathan’s movie Dude released its first single, Oorum Blood, composed by Sai Abhyankkar, and it has received mixed responses. Sai Abhyankkar gained attention in Kollywood after being signed for big-budget projects like Suriya’s Karuppu and Dude, even before his debut Benz released.
Fans had speculated that Sai Abhyankkar could replace Anirudh as Kollywood’s next top composer. Despite the hype, reactions to Oorum Blood were divided. Many felt that while the song has a party vibe, it seems overcrowded with musical elements, and the lyrics are difficult to hear.
Some netizens criticised Sai Abhyankkar, calling him overrated and questioning whether he is ready for big projects. On the other hand, several listeners found the song fresh and catchy, predicting it might grow on audiences in the coming days.
Overall, the first single from Dude has sparked debates, but fans are hopeful that Sai Abhyankkar will deliver hit songs in future projects. Time will tell whether he establishes himself as a prominent music composer in Kollywood.
