
Amaran, starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi in the lead, directed by Rangoon movie famed Rajkumar Periyasamy, is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on October 31st as a Diwali special.
The Amaran team is currently promoting this movie worldwide by conducting events and giving interviews to YouTube channels, as still only a few days are left for the release.
As a part of the promotion, Sai Pallavi has given an interview on a popular YouTube channel in which she opened up her criticisms against the shortening of heroine portions in the Male Driven Movies.
In that interview, the anchor of the show questioned Sai Pallavi on how she got committed in the movie Amaran as portraying the character of Indhu Rebecca Varghese, who is a widowed wife of Major Mukund Varadarajan.
For this question, Sai Pallavi has opened up that, usually, She will not be interested in acting in male-driven or biography-oriented movies, as the directors of these movies cut short the beautiful portions of the heroine due to length constraints.
She also mentioned that she already has fought to shorten her scenes in some movies, and when she got committed to Amaran, the director of this movie, Rajkumar Periyasamy, promised that there wouldn’t be any shortening of scenes of the female lead as Indhu’s character has more depth in this story.
