Vettaiyan, starring Rajinikanth in the lead and Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, and Rana Daggubati in the crucial roles directed by TJ Gnanavel, was released in theatres this October 10th.
Even though this movie has a decent opening, after the first weekend the occupancy in theatres is drastically reduced as many audiences who have watched this movie shared mixed responses.
As of now, the movie has completed 11 days of the theatrical run and also has not done breakeven in many areas. Also, gross collection-wise, Vettaiyan is a disaster in its theatrical run.
In this scenario, the team celebrated a success party and served food for the technicians who worked in the movie, and TJ Gnanavel, Ritika Singh, and many others who were part of this movie attended the event.
Vettaiyan is a box office disaster collection-wise, but the team is celebrating a fake success party, claiming Vettaiyan is a successful movie, and also to maintain the buzz, say the audiences.
This is not a healthy state, as per reports. Even Lyca Productions has approached Rajinikanth for compensation for the loss in Vettaiyan, but this fake success party looks like a clean-up of the terrible failure.
