Trisha is currently enjoying a prime phase in her acting career, with her recent Kollywood films turning out to be blockbuster successes. Additionally, she has an impressive lineup of upcoming projects.
Now, an old interview of Trisha, where she shared her “wild ambition,” has resurfaced and is trending on social media.
In the interview, when asked about her ambition, Trisha revealed that she aspired to become the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and serve the people.
This statement has gone viral, leading to mixed reactions online. While some netizens are trolling her ambition, others have speculated that Trisha’s interest in politics might explain her recent proximity to Vijay. As Vijay has launched his political party and is set to contest in the 2026 elections, rumors are suggesting a strategic connection.
However, Vijay’s fans were quick to react, expressing their displeasure over the resurfaced video. Many took to social media to assert that Vijay is the only contender for the future Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. They dismissed the idea of Trisha being politically close to Vijay and suggested that if she is genuinely interested in serving the people, she could join Vijay’s TVK Party and perhaps start her political career as an MLA.
