During the promotions of Thug Life, Silambarasan TR, better known as Simbu, shared his experience with the legendary cricketer Virat Kohli, which has now gone viral on social media.
Simbu stated that when he met Kohli, he introduced himself as actor Simbu. To which, Kohli replied, “Sorry, I don’t know you,” and walked off.
Furthermore, Simbu mentioned that years later, he saw an RCB reel where his song Nee Singam Dhan was listed as Kohli’s favourite song. However, Simbu still doesn’t know if Kohli recognises him.
Following this incident, some Simbu fans on social media are requesting the actor not to act in Virat Kohli’s biopic, as a few months ago, a rumour went viral that Simbu was interested in starring in Kohli’s biopic and that it might happen in the future.
Simbu’s fans feel that Virat Kohli disrespected Simbu, and therefore, Simbu should drop the idea of acting in Kohli’s biopic. However, some of Simbu’s haters, on the other hand, are trolling him for this incident and sharing memes about it.
